October 27-28, 2014: Church, Healing, Camping

…Kat and her family brought us to church with them in the morning. The church was Assemblies of God Lonoke. Everyone there was excited to meet us and very welcoming. We went to the bible study and then afterwards attended the service. Worship was awesome and so was the message. The message was about building bridges to reach others where they are at and Jesus can help us build that bridge. Kat then took us out for lunch to a Mexican restaurant in town with her family. We then went back to the farm and relaxed for the afternoon and watched Shrek. Before leaving we got to pray for the family and thank them for their time and encouragement. They were quite the fun, laughing family. They brought back to a motel for the night, where we got to pray for and see the man at the front desk hand get healed by the power of Jesus’s name! He was having trouble holding things and had pain in his hand, but it is gone now!

…The next day we marched toward Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas. We had a package waiting for us in North Little Rock that our parents mailed out to us. A church was holding the package for us. We walked until it got dark and camped beside the road for the night…
“By day The Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me — a prayer to the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8
