October 23-24, 2014: A Transformation Conversation

By November 11, 2014Uncategorized

…In the morning we got dropped back off at the Dollar General, and went to the grocery store next door that was open because Dollar General was closed. We got some food to eat and went to the police station to ask if we could heat up our microwavable breakfast. We met Micky, who was working at the courthouse inside the police station, she let us heat up our food. She also helped us find a church to stay for the night in the next town, Lonoke. After we read our bibles we continued on to Lonoke. We arrived at the church and they put us up in a motel about a mile away. During our journey there a girl named Tiffany asked us if we wanted a ride down to the motel, so she drove us there. We got to minister to her a lot and by the end of the conversation she came to accept Jesus in her heart. She had a lot of questions about Jesus and God and we helped answer them. It was really awesome to see the change in her when she accepted the Lord. God’s love is so powerful and real when we live it out and obey! God has given us the authority to break people free from bondage through his son and all it takes is a little act of obedience. She wanted to buy us dinner and hang out a little more, so we took a trip to Taco Bell and got some tacos. She was very sweet girl and had such a crazy life with her family situation. We got to share a little bit of our testimonies to encourage her. She then took us back to the motel and there we rested for the night…

….The following day we felt like we should stay another day to rest up and spend a good chunk of time with God. We went to the restaurant right beside the motel called Sawmill Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. But for the rest of the day we took it easy, it consisted of reading the bible, and stretching our achy joints out, it was quite the sabbath rest…
