February 8-11, 2015: Christ for the Nations

By March 17, 2015Uncategorized

….These next couple of days we stayed with Jonathan’s parents, Glen and Luli, at Christ for the Nations Institute as they gave us a tour of their memories when they attended the school back in 1986. We walked around the campus and went to all the places where his parent’s would meet up for dates, where they used to hang out after classes, where they used to work out, and much much more. We attended a worship gathering that they have every morning for students that was for about 30 minutes and saw a guest speaker. They really had a passion for worship. A lot of the students danced in front of the stage. This Institute is known for it’s worship and missions work across the world. For church we went to Watermark Community Church where we introduced some of our new friends we met at that church to Jonathan’s parents. It was quite the impressive college. After exploring there a few days they dropped us back off at Watermark where we attended the young adults service called “The Porch.” When the service was done we split into community groups where we had some fellowship with other young believers and talked about the sermon. Phil (a guy we met a few days earlier) gave us a place to stay in his apartment for the night…
