Today was a day of dropping some weight off our packs. In the morning Paul made us pancakes and eggs which was stupendous. After breakfast they took us back to Subway where we were the day before. We got rid of some things that we didn’t really need or use to make it easier on our backs. We got rid of a lot actually. We also got to minister to guy who had some questions about Christianity and sow a seed into his life. We got to walk a little bit towards Mcafee’s Knob which is a part of the Appalachian Trail. Paul and Kyra told us that it would be a good detour for the trip because it is one of the best views on the Appalachian Trail. On our way to the trail we stopped at another Subway to eat because it was getting dark. Paul and Kyra offered to take us to a discipleship study and it was game night for the group. It was at Louis’s house, which is one of Kyra and Paul’s good friends. We got to meet a lot of people from their church and had a really fun time playing jumbling blocks and fish bowl. Louis does a lot of wood work and gave us wood rings to keep for the trip. He is also the youth pastor of the church. We had a great time of fellowship with everyone, Louis and his wife Christen let us spend the night at their place. We said goodbye to Kyra and Paul which was sad because they were such an amazing sister and brother in Christ. They were a huge blessing and encouragement to us. We hope to see them again soon.

Hey guys. Just met with your Dad (Gary) and spoke with Glenn a few days ago about your trip. Sounds like you’re having quite an adventure! We are looking forward to hi-lighting your trip on a Sunday morning as soon as we can work out the logistics. We love you guys and are praying for you. I’m looking forward to making more people at GCC aware of what you guys are doing!
    God bless and be safe!
