December 9-10, 2014: Simms and Naples

By January 21, 2015Uncategorized

….We packed up at our stealth campsite early in the morning and walked to a fish bait store a couple miles down the road. They served us breakfast there. Continuing from the bait shop, we ended up in a very small town called Simms. It was towards the evening when we came across a baptist church. We called the number on the sign and got an answer from the secretary of the church. She then contacted the pastor, Aaron, who came over to meet us, he lived right next to the church building. He let us in to sleep in the youth building and supplied us food from the food pantry for supper. It was really cool getting to know Aaron and see his heart to help people in need…

….The next day we went on to the town of Naples and came across a gas station where they let us camp out. We got to talk to a bunch of people who asked what we were doing and share our testimonies. We were pretty tired because we walked pretty far to get to Naples. So we pretty much passed out when we set up camp…
