Last night I passed out while Trevor was playing his guitar, so I don’t know what time it was when we went to bed. We slept in a little more today since it was a Sunday and we don’t walk as far. Both of us took showers and went to the Calvary Chapel church, which was right across the street from the motel. The service was amazing and it was something Trevor and I needed to hear. The message was about the joy God gives to his children and it spoke directly to us, since it has been something God has been teaching us during the trip. People there were very excited for our journey and we received a lot of prayer. A lady at the church and some other people invited us for our lunch at an IHOP. We had the privilege to share about our journey  and learn more about them as well. They also payed for our food. A couple who joined for lunch invited us to stay at their house and is where we are at now. Getting to know this couple has been amazing and they are going to be serving us dinner soon. We are nice and warmed and blessed!

This is the first chance I have had to read your blog. I’ve only read January so far, but I am really enjoying it. Now that I have met and talked with you both, it makes the story even more exciting. Jeffrey went to church with Mark and I this morning and he spoke to my Pastor about the journey you all are on. The Pastor prayed for him (and I’m sure that included you, as well). I know he will be lifting you up in prayer. Jeffrey shared with a lot of people at my church and they were all very excited about what you are doing. A number of people took down you website address so they could follow your blog or check out your facebook page. One of the youth leaders said that he would definitely be keeping you all in prayer. I’m super excited for when Jeffrey joins you tomorrow. It will be great seeing you one more time. Thanks again for including us in your journey. We feel very blessed to be a part of it.

Grace (favor and blessing) to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). I thank my God in all my remembrance of you. In every prayer of mine I alway make my entreaty and petition for you all with joy. I thank my God for your fellowship in advancing the good news (the Gospel) from the first day you heard it until now. And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing that good work, and perfecting, and bringing to full completion in you. Phil. 1:2-6
